More about Donielle

Meet Donielle Hart — the heart behind Pawsh Paws Mobile Spa.

Donielle got her start in grooming back in 2005, training under her mentor, Becky, who became like a second mother to her. When Becky passed away, Donielle carried on in her footsteps, running Becky’s salon, Elite Pet Styling, in Owosso.

When COVID hit, Donielle made the difficult decision to close the salon and step away for a while to focus on her health. After some time, she started grooming again out of her home — and that’s when the idea of taking her grooming on the road began to take shape. Pawsh Paws Mobile Spa officially hit the road on October 28, 2024, and in less than a year her schedule was fully booked. She’s since added a second van to serve the Lansing area, and is currently working on a third to bring Pawsh Paws to Genesee County this fall.

With over 20 years of grooming experience, Donielle is diligent about staying up-to-date with the latest techniques and trends in the industry. She’s certified in Pet First Aid and CPR, and has completed specialized training in working with difficult dogs, handling hair and skin issues, and caring for older or geriatric dogs.

What really sets Donielle apart is her patience and compassion. For elderly dogs who can’t get up onto the grooming table on their own, she’ll get down on the floor with them — whatever it takes to make them comfortable. For brand-new puppies just starting their grooming journey, she takes it slow: introducing them to the van, letting them sniff the tools, and walking them through a trial puppy groom before their first full session, so by the time they’re ready, they’re completely at ease.

Whether your dog needs a simple bath or a complete makeover, trust Donielle to provide an outstanding grooming experience — right at your doorstep!
